The Peloponnese The holiday house Sonnenseite is situated on the Peloponnese peninsula.The Peloponnese combines one of the most mountainous areas of Europe with kilometers of sandy beaches, rocky bays and, most of all, crystal clear water. The „middle finger“ of the peninsula is dominated by the immense Taygetos mountains. „Profitis Ilias“ with its 2.407 meters is situated between Kalamata and Sparta and is the highest peak on the Peloponnese. The harbour town of Gythio lies at the bottom of Taygetos. A 20 kilometer drive takes you from Gythio to Skoutari, your destination.
