The Mani
Europe's southernest peninsula lies south of Antalya, Tunis, Algier and Malaga and nort-west of Crete in the Mediterranean. Spring lasts from December to April in Mani, with mild, often changing weather. Short, heavy rain showers and hours of sunshine take turns. From January on, the sun shines 4 hours a day.
From middle of March on, Mani is in bloom. Until mid-May, juicy green herbs, wild orchids, poppies and marguerites make this season an unforgettable experience.
Summer lasts from beginning of June to the end of October with no rain, sunshine every day, aromatic herbs, the joy of swimming, various water sports and starlit nights.
